My cats have been attending Lakewood Animal Hospital for many years. I have always had an excellent experience with all of the doctors at this clinic. They are soooo good and patient with my cats. Last year I lost a seven month old kitten that I had adopted. After my little one was neutered, she began to show symptoms that were not related to her neutering. She was not in good shape. She didn’t want to be alone and would not leave my side. Every time I would lay down, she would jump up and lay across my neck like she was cold. All of the kitten in her was gone. When I took her in, her test results were grim so we decided together that the best way to find out what was going on was to operate. Prior to the operation I held her in my arms promising that she would come home to me and her siblings. It turned out to be much more serious. My little one made it through the surgery but took her last breath in the caring arms of the doctor. She wasn’t alone.
