Pharmacy

In-house pharmacy

For your convenience, Lakewood Animal Hospital has an in-house pharmacy, enabling you to pick up your pet’s medications at the time of your visit.

While we may not carry every medication, we keep the most commonly prescribed small animal medications in stock. If your pet requires a medication that we do not carry, your veterinarian MAY be able to write a prescription for pick up at a human pharmacy.

To reach our pharmacy, please call 306-545-6487 and choose Option 2 to speak to our pharmacy staff.

Please note: To refill a prescription you will need:

Refills of the requested medication are okayed by a DVM on the medical record for that animal.
An annual exam in the past 1 year for all animals (A semi-annual every 6 months for senior animals).

Monday 7:30am – 6:00pm Tuesday 7:30am – 6:00pm Wednesday 7:30am – 6:00pm Thursday 7:30am – 8:30pm Friday 7:30am – 6:00pm Saturday 8:30am – 5:00pm Sunday Closed

We are closed on Wednesdays between 1-2 pm for staff meetings.
