Yes, clients are required to schedule appointments for all their pet’s health care needs.

Can I get health insurance for my pets?
Yes, we deal with a few insurance companies. Please let our reception team know if you have pet insurance prior to your appointment booking. We only direct bill for Trupanion. For more information please go to Trupanion.com

What is a pre-anesthetic blood screen?
This is a blood sample that is analyzed in hospital prior to the surgical procedure to check organ function and general pet health.

How long do the sutures stay in after my pet’s surgery?
In most cases sutures can be removed 10-14 days after the surgical procedure has been performed. For some procedures absorbable sutures are used and they do not require removal.

At what age can I have my pet spayed or neutered?
Our doctors recommend spaying or neutering cats and small breed dogs between 6-8 months of age. For large breed male and female dogs, we highly recommend a consult with our doctors to discuss a plan that suits your large dog
