Dr. Marilyn Sthamann and the team at Lakewood Animal Hospital are absolutely wonderful.  When we brought Nikita in for her first visit, Dr. Sthamann answered all of our questions and concerns with patience and respect; and was incredibly attentive and thorough with her.  We appreciate the extra time Dr. Sthamann took to discuss our options, for joining Nikita’s health team and for providing us with resources, knowledge and referrals to make the very best decisions for her.  We were thoroughly impressed that the entire visit was about what was best for Nikita even when it came down to recommending products and supplements that weren’t offered through the hospital, but would possibly be best for her.  It was Dr. Sthamann’s knowledge and care and respect that has led us down this path.  After we met with Dr. Sthamann, we finally felt like we could breathe again.  Our entire fur family and the rescues that we assist are so much better off for having met Dr. Sthamann because it has challenged us as pet owners and animal rescuers to push our education and knowledge even further.  Thank you so very much!  We look forward to a long relationship with Dr. Sthamann and the team at the Lakewood Animal Hospital.
