Ultrasound Therapy

Ultrasound waves are produced by synthetic crystals that vibrate at a particular frequency which can then penetrate the skin. Ultrasound therapy has both thermal and non-thermal effects.  Thermal ultrasound can be used to heat tissues when appropriate and non-thermal ultrasound can be used for healing wounds.
